The participants and visitors of ITB Berlin – one of the world’s leading travel trade shows – will have the opportunity to taste a selection of excellent Bulgarian wines. ITB Berlin takes place from March 8 until March 12 in Berlin’s Exhibition Center. Every day between 12:00 and 14:00 at the Bulgarian stand, participants and visitors of ITB Berlin will have the opportunity to learn more about Bulgarian wine regions, find out about the potential for wine tourism in the country and of course, taste some Bulgarian wines.
The wineries from the Melnik region invite you to dive into the world of viticulture and wine to celebrate the festivities of St. Trifon’s Day – an annual wine festival that celebrates viticulture, wine making and winemakers. Wineries in the famous wine making region of Melnik, Petrich and Sandanski open their doors to visitors on Saturday 11th February and Sunday 12th February. The wine estates will offer informative tours of the wineries and the wine making process. There will be wine, folklore programs, a ritual of pruning the vines and many more surprises!
The Rosé Wine Expo festival in the town of Kazanluk is an annual wine festival dedicated to the wonderfully pink drink that is Rosé. The festival is held every June as part of the traditional annual Rose Festival in the Valley of Roses and Thracian Kings. As part of the festival, a national contest for best Rosé is held and wine producers proudly exhibit their wines for all to taste.
