2019-12-18T13:07:25+02:00

Many people do not know Plovdiv - and that is a shame! Plovdiv should be on everyone's lips! Not only is this ancient city the oldest living city in Europe, it is one of the oldest cities in the world. In Plovdiv, you can see the remnants from the Romans, Greeks, Byzantines, Thracians, Slavs, Ottomans... everyone has passed through here at some point of time! Modern Plovdiv is a sight to behold. Ruins intertwined with architecture from the 19th and 20th century. Brutalistic architecture from socialism and romantic autro-hungarian houses that are beautifully decorated. Shopping, bars, restaurants and parks. Just around the town, you will find wineries, breweries, monasteries, Thracian tombs and stunning nature. In Plovdiv, there is something for everyone.
